FLORENCE HOSTS THE WORLD SUPERYACHTS AWARDS

Florence hosts the World Superyacht Awards for the first time.

Boat International Media, Navigo (the Tuscan shipyards’ association) and the Italian shipyards (including VSY) have toghether contributed to bring the e the most prestigous superyacht  event back to Italy for a 3 year period, and for the first time in Florence.

A week end, from 13^th to 15^th May, in which the elite of the superyacht world, owners and industry leaders come together to recognize the finest superyachts launched throughout the year, during an exclusive Gala Dinner and Award Giving Ceremony in the impressive Palazzo Vecchio, under the breathtaking frescoes created by Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci.

The programme offers guests further opportunities to explore the historic city of Florence and its surroundings, including events such the finalist cocktail party, Sunday brunch as well as other cultural activities.

The event represents a great opportunity for the territory and for the entire Italian yachting industry as well as a relaunch of the cost and port economy both at a local and national level.
